Programming software

CyPro 2 is a software package for programming CyBro-2 controllers. It runs under Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2k/XP. CyPro is a fully featured IDE (integrated development environment) containing editor, compiler and on-line monitor.

CyPro 2 is based on IEC 1131-3 standard. It implements instruction list and structured text programming, extended with several useful visual tools.

Hardware requirements

Any PC capable of running MS Windows 95 is sufficient, although the recommended system is Pentium 500MHz with 128Mb RAM. CyPro will occupy about 4Mb of disc space. To connect CyBro and PC, standard serial (RS232) port is required. If serial port is not available, connection may also be established using either USB-to-serial or Ethernet-to-serial converter.

User interface

Main CyPro window consists of:
- Edit window is used to type and edit PLC program. Each window contains a single program module: function or description. Each program function is shown in a separate window.
- Toolbars contain
1. Standard toolbar with standard edit commands
2. Program toolbar contain additional useful tools
3. Communication toolbar with communication management commands
- Status bar shows various information about communication and connected CyBro.
- Menu with all commands
- Project tree displays all the project parts hierarchically.
